Sacred Owls compilation album, “Beware“, which was released in 2019 is a collection of songs recorded over 2 recording sessions originally for Coffins Comix Tales of Terror comic book with a soundtrack project which so far has had 2 issues so far.

Tales of Terror #1

Issue #1 was released in 2017 and features Sacred Owls as well as Will Brack (who played stand up bass for Sacred Owls at the time), Dougie Flesh & The Slashers, The Prople, Gyrojets, & Jess-O-Lantern. Each musical act produced their recordings as well as artwork for the comic. Sacred Owls focused on their brand of true crime horror rock’n’roll with their opening song Conspiracy of Silence which is a retelling of Paul Bonacci’s experiences outlined in John Decamp’s The Franklin Cover-Up revolving around his experiences as a teenage boy being sex trafficked by Laurence (Larry) King out of Boy’s Town, Nebraska in the late 80’s to Sacramento, and the Bohemian Grove by Hunter S. Thompson, David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, and others predominant political officials.

The song is followed by Owlmobile which is a song about Sacred Owls’ supernatural pedophile hunting tour van adding to the bands lore.

Drummer and vocalist at the time, Arielle Burial, covered Chick Habit by April March as an homage to the film Death Proof.

To complete the session Sacred Owls covers Will Brack’s original Osceola Wants His Head Back originally released on his LP Kissimmee.

They Are Here To Save The World

Following the release of this comic, we drove from Florida to California to tour the U.S. and protest at the gates of the Bohemian Grove during their Cremation of Care ceremony where members sacrifice an effigy of a child to the flames in front of a 40′ statue of an owl.

During this tour we also visited the Bohemian Club in San Francisco and cut all the footage into a film titled They Are Here To Save The World (a homage to the original Ghostbusters poster).

We also included our trips to the Denver Airport, Boys Town, Nebraska, The Georgia Guidestones & the White House.

Tales of Terror #2

Issue #2 was released 2 years later in 2019 with the return of Will Brack, The Prople, and Gyrojets and the addition of Wes Morrison & The Stray Hares. In this sequel Sacred Owls dives even deeper into the true crime horrors of The Franklin Cover-Up and continues with Troy Boners story.

As a 3rd meta sequel, the follow up sister track to Owlmobile is Pedophile Hunter Rock’n’Roll further reinforcing the bands stance on supporting the death penalty for predators who target children sexually.

The 3rd track is another call back to the 3rd track of issue #1, Chick Habit. Sacred Owls original Good Gal With A Gun is a camply number sung by Arielle Burial reinforcing the warning that if you mess with women, they might not be as defenseless as you might assume.

The music for this song was also used for it’s own parody which is the next track, Magog And The Ghouls. 

This song is a swan song for the passing of George Herbert Walker Bush who is heard in the opening for the song. As an added bonus for the 2nd issue we included a cover of Johnny Cash’s The Man Comes Around.
